Use Request It (E-ZBorrow) to find and borrow items from other cooperating libraries.

  • From the library's home page, scroll down and find the center tab, near the bottom of the page, labeled Tools and Services.

  • Below this label, click on the link for Request It and E-ZBorrow.

  • Choose the link for Request It (E-Z Borrow).  This is the link without the green squirrel icon.

  • Enter your library ID (barcode number on the back of your MU ID card) and last name to log in.

  • Search for the item by keyword, title, author, subject(s), or ISBN based on what you know about the item.

  • Click on Search!

  • Depending on the number of results, your screen may take a while to load, or it may update while you are viewing it.

  • View any of the links to titles and authors in the left frame, or choose a source, subject, or author link on the right for more information or to keep searching for items that may be related.

  • For a title you want to borrow from another institution, click on the title and the page showing its availability will load.

  • Below the identification information for the item, click on the Request It! link.

  • If you are requesting a physical (non-electronic) item, a page will load asking you to indicate where you want to pick up the item.

    • Select Millersville University Library Circulation Desk

    • Click on Submit Request

  • If you are requesting an electronic resource, you will be directed to another log-in screen for Request It powerd by ILLiad.

    • Log in with your myVille credentials.

    • The request form will appear with all required information entered.

    • Click on Submit Request.
