There are two ways to request a book for pickup.  

Using the Library Catalog

  1. Navigate to the Millersville University Library Catalog by clicking on the Books, eBooks, and Video link in the Finding Information menu on the library homepage.
  2. Choose the Millersville university Library Catalog link.
  3. Search for the book you would like to request.
  4. Click on the title of the book.
  5. Scroll down below the book details
  6. Login using your Millersville Credentials if necessary
  7. Click Request and complete the form
  8. Submit the Book Request
  9. You will be notified when your book is ready for pick up.

Using Library Search

  1. Search for your books in Library Search (Library Search includes books from our collection as well as books available form other libraries)
  2. If you find a book with a location that indicates it is available in the Millersville University Library, click on the "Place Hold" link
  3. Complete the form and submit
  4. You will be notified when your book is ready for pick up.

Picking up your book

  1. Check the Library Building and Curbside Pickup Hours
  2. You can pick up your book at the circulation desk at the library
  3. Or you can use curbside pickup
    1. Park in one of two designated spaces in the Ganser Loop parking lot behind the library which are marked with signs and a large flag. Entrance to Ganser Loop is from Frederick Street.
    2. Call (717) 871 - 7111 to announce your arrival
    3. Staff will ask for your information and deliver the book to you at your car.
    4. Walk up curbside pickup is also available at the tent next the the parking spots.
    5. Properly worn masks are required.
